Step 1:
Getting Started
For most families, the application process begins with an introduction to Holy Cross. Whether you heard about Holy Cross from friends or family, located the school online, or simply drove by the campus, it is recommended you begin by completing the Student Inquiry Form. A personalized tour will be designed for you to learn more about HCCA. You can download your form from our website and when completed, email it to our registrar at georgann.reeves@hccaburleson.com. Once the completed form is received, you will be contacted to schedule your tour of HCCA. A Student Inquiry Form may also be obtained directly from the school campus. At your tour, you will receive an Admissions Packet and much more information regarding our academic goals and our distinctively Christian environment. For further admissions questions, please call 817-295-7232.

Step 2:
Submit an Admissions Packet
Your admissions file is opened once your completed Admissions Packet and $75 Testing Fee is received. You should submit your completed Admissions Packet and fee to the school. This packet includes information forms, medical forms, our Statement of Faith as well as teacher recommendation forms to be completed by your student’s current teachers. See the Registration Checklist for a full list of all the information and forms which must accompany your application. This is the most important step to enable the admissions process to move quickly. If you have a need for Tuition Assistance, please read our information on Financial Aid and complete an application for Financial Aid.

Step 3:
Testing
All students applying to HCCA are required to take an achievement test for grades 1-8. You will be contacted to set up the required testing after we have a completed Admissions Packet. Group testing dates are scheduled for January 28, February 18, and March 31. If your student is unable to attend one of the group testing dates and requires an individual appointment, an additional $25 fee will be required.

Step 4:
Admissions Review Committee
The Admissions Review committee will then review your application and test scores to ensure that the applicant has a strong chance for success at HCCA prior to the admissions interview. The review will occur as soon as possible after the completion of the prior steps.
5
Step 5:
Interview
Once the Admissions Review Committee has approved the application, you will be called to schedule an interview with the Administrator. Both parents are encouraged to attend the interview. Students applying for grades 6-8 are also required to attend the interview. The family or parent interview is a vital part of the admissions process. The interview provides an opportunity to get to know one another more personally and gives you another chance to ask questions. Of high priority to Holy Cross is ensuring that students will not only be able to flourish academically at Holy Cross, but also that the Christian environment of the school will also be a good match for your family.

Step 6:
Registration
Once the interview is complete, we will provide an enrollment contract for your signature and welcome you to our HCCA family!
